The first home in the 475-lot Old Sorrel Ranch development west of Cedar City is nearing completion, according to builder Braun Construction.

Braun was the first builder to break ground in the development back in September and, since doing so,  has seen a very smooth build that has progressed on schedule despite downtime caused by the holiday season and several episodes of adverse weather conditions.

Construction started on two other homes shortly following the first.  Those are entering the final stages of construction as construction wraps up on the first with all three being completed within the next several weeks.
